2nd December 2007
These females smuggled beer into the house,
We sneak into a room and have beer with lunch,
All laughing and giggling and of course commenting at each other,
Mom comes into the room to serve us paranthas,
Ni is having a Breezer in her hand; she gets scared for a second,
But then I wink at her and she understands that it is not a problem,
She offers the Breezer to my mom and mama takes a sip very coolly, (later we did assure her that it is only 4% alcohol)
ReSoNiAa cheers happily for mama.
We continue our lunch and dad comes into the room,
SO freaks out and tries to hide the beer,
She could not find a better place but put it under the pillow next to me,
Dad understood something is fishy,
He lifts the pillow very innocently and sees the beer can,
Luckily he does not say anything, stares at So, Ni, and Aa (Me),
Passes the sarcastic grin and leaves the room.
We continue our chit-chat till 4,
The majority of which is resolving issues between So and Ni,
By 4.30 Re is all pissed and leaves and So and Ni continue,
After some time, they both realize that I will be leaving in an hour,
So they decide to drop me to the station.
I say bye to everyone at home and leave with my sis, So and Ni
I was expecting a mini melodrama to happen, but everyone seem very chilled out,
Mom gives me a small Ganesh murthy and asks me to take good care.
We reach the station, and I get a bit jittery about leaving home,
It just occurred to me that I am going to a complete strange place,
Where I have never been before, where I know no one.
ReSoNiAa Days
Love, Excitement, Curiosity, Enthusiasm,
Affection, Adventure, Humor, Wit,
Anger, Races, Fights – All of this can happen at the same time when ReSoNiAa is together.
I am sure each of us treasures those moments till date and always will.
It was such a life,
Nothing existed outside us,
Nothing mattered outside the ReSoNiAa bubble,
Did we ever notice anything else?
There was never a need to notice anything else,
We were each others best of mates
We were for each other and made each other
Now, as I look back, it feels like a story,
Tough to imagine that I lived like that,
Today, we are walking the paths we chose,
Each so different from other,
Wondering if our paths will ever cross,
ReSoNiAa seems to have vanished in thin air,
Only the thought and the name remain.
We thought we will be friends forever,
But it never appeared to us that we had such differences,
The difference in opinions set us apart,
Each busy supporting her own point,
In times when we should have supported each other.

So You Want to be a Writer (by Charles Bukowski)
If it doesn't come bursting out of you in spite of everything, don't do it.
Unless it comes unasked out of your heart and your mind and your mouth and your gut, don't do it.
If you have to sit for hours staring at your computer screen or hunched over your typewriter searching for words, don't do it.
If you're doing it for money or fame, don't do it.
If you're doing it because you want women in your bed, don't do it.
If you have to sit there and rewrite it again and again, don't do it.
If it's hard work just thinking about doing it, don't do it.
If you're trying to write like somebodyelse, forget about it.
If you have to wait for it to roar out of you, then wait patiently.
If it never does roar out of you, do something else.
If you first have to read it to your wife or your girlfriend or your boyfriend or your parents or to anybody at all, you're not ready.
Don't be like so many writers, don't be like so many thousands of people who call themselves writers,
Don't be dull and boring and pretentious, don't be consumed with self-love.
The libraries of the world have yawned themselves to sleepover your kind.
Don't add to that.
Don't do it.
Unless it comes out of your soul like a rocket,
Unless being still would drive you to madness or suicide or murder, don't do it.
Unless the sun inside you is burning your gut, don't do it.
When it is truly time, and if you have been chosen, it will do it by itself and it will keep on doing it until you die or it dies in you.
There is no other way.
And there never was.
